Two WV United Way organizations have partnered with WVU to provide an easy way for community members to get connected with volunteer opportunities.
The Mon and Preston United Way and Tygart Valley United Way have launched a new volunteer portal that partners with local agencies to connect volunteers with needs.
Once users create an account, they can follow organizations working to forward the causes they connect with and get notifications when volunteer opportunities are posted to the portal. Signing up for events is easy, and the system keeps track of your hours and commitments.
For our Ascenders in these regions, finding opportunities to serve your communities just got a lot easier.
