Wishing you farewell!

Hello Ascend and Friends! I have had the honor of getting to know many of you through Ascend Morgantown, early GBV interviews, and the past 3 years of Country Roads; and still many of you I have not yet had the chance to meet. I have been with the Brad & Alys Smith Outdoor Economic Development team since before we were named as such, and over the past 5.5 years, it has been thrilling to be a part of the backend development and nurturing of amazing programs such as Ascend! This is a note to let you all know that I am moving on from WVU; I will miss you and the incredible team of colleagues here. It is amazing to see the growth, quality and impact of Ascend on WV - which is because of you all! You have each taken the leap to discover or return to these country roads and you bring your passions, values and kindness to our communities and each other. I believe so strongly in our purpose and mission - and that success is built by this amazing team and everyone that said “Yes!” to Almost Heaven. Thank you.
